HOW TO ARRIVE IN LERICI
AIRPLANE
Flying to Pisa International Airport - Galileo Galilei is the most convenient option as this is the closest airport to Lerici (approx. 80km).
Pisa Airport is directly connected to the Italian Railway Network through the Pisa Mover shuttle. The railway terminal is located just outside the departure hall and is connected to Pisa Central Station by a direct shuttle service.
From Pisa central station there are frequent trains to Sarzana or La Spezia Centrale (see directions below), however just keep in mind that the last train from Pisa will depart at about 22:30.
Your other option is to fly to the
Cristoforo Colombo International airport in Genoa
which is the main airport serving Liguria, or to other nearby airports such as Florence (
www.aeroporto.firenze.it
- 150km), Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi,
www.bologna-airport.it
- 215km) or Milano (Linate and Malpensa,
www.sea-aeroportimilano.it
- 240km) and then take a train to La Spezia Centrale or Sarzana (see below).
However, we highly recommend you flying to Pisa airport if you can, as this is the easiest and quickest way of getting to Lerici.

However, please note that parking for free in Lerici is not that simple. You will probably have to look for one of the few paid parking lots available in town, or ask your hotel reception before arrival.
